Last October the family of the late Wendy Slade donated her cap to Aber Valley Heritage Museum at a ceremony in the Senghenydd Community Centre.
Following this, Owain Harries from the Football Association of Wales invited the family to the Wales v Iceland match on 1st December at Cardiff City Stadium.
Here’s a few pictures of a wonderful evening they had at the football game where they said it was lovely to meet and chat with the trail blazers of yesterday.
The F.A.W. made everyone feel so welcome, with presentations, speeches and meet n greet opportunities. The ladies and evening were just amazing.
The family have thanked Aber Valley Heritage Group for raising exposure and thank the F.A.W. for the wonderful experience.
